Senior Service technician IJmuiden
Manpower is looking for an offshore service technician for a company in IJmuiden.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems of offshore wind turbines
- Diagnosing and resolving faults (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical)
- Repairing or replacing components and parts as needed
- Documenting all work accurately according to established procedures
- Mentoring, supporting, and collaborating with junior service technicians
- Working independently and safely in compliance with offshore safety standards
- Ensuring turbines operate at optimal performance and remain fully operational

- Technical MBO education. At least level 3
- WTG Vestas basic and Level 1 & 2 training
- At least three years of experience with Vestas turbines
- Possess or willing to obtain NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 certifications
- Possess or willing to obtain GWO certificates + medical clearance
- Hold a VCA-VOL certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Able to work safely and independently offshore
- Valid driver’s license B
- Fluent in English because of job duties. Dutch is a plus
- Comfortable with heights, proactive, and able to guide junior colleagues
- Team-oriented, stress-resistant, and motivated to develop in the offshore wind sector
