Our Client, a global, technology driven market maker, is looking for an experienced corporate counsel to provide paternity cover in their Amsterdam office.
Responsibilities:Providing legal support and advice to local senior management and Group General Counsel on relevant legal issues for EU and APAC jurisdictions.
Assisting and dealing with trading matters e.g. Reviewing trading agreements and liaising with relevant counterparties when appropriate
Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements such as data agreements, service agreements and terms of business
Interpretation and advise on new regulatory requirements.
Assisting with new projects - in particular DORA and the EU AI Act
Broader commercial and employment matters as required.
5+ Years experience as a qualified counsel
In-house track record in a technology driven financial services or legal services firm
SME across a broad corporate mandate - including data protection, DORA and the latest EU AI rulings
Available to start at short notice
Candidates must speak fluent English - Dutch will be desirable but not mandatory
Must have the right to work in the EU
