We are looking for flexible waiters in our Banquets team, Le Camelia Restaurant and Room Service Team and Serre Restaurant team.

The Banquet Operations department at Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the largest among all five star hotels in the Netherlands and is market leader in banquet revenue and quality. Working in Banqueting is a challenging area in which no day is exactly the same. To keep our service level high, we work closely within our team but also with other teams in the hotel. Together with the team, will you be able to ensure for unforgettable large events held at Hotel Okura Amsterdam.

Serre Restaurant opened in 2011 and is awarded with a Bib Gourmand due to the excellent balance between price – quality of the dishes. Serre Restaurant bases itself with a selection of renowned, Ciel Bleu dishes all presented in a new manner. The menu is an international mix, with both classical and modern influences.

The Le Camelia breakfast buffet combines all international influences together that Hotel Okura Amsterdam has to offer. Room service offers the ultimate experience in the comfort and privacy of your room.

As a Waiter/Waitress, you are responsible together with your team, for exceeding guest expectations, by focusing on what they find most important. You are in close guest contact and responsible for offering service to all guests. Your main tasks will be:

  • Operational tasks, such as organizing coffee breaks and lunches, taking orders, serving the guests and arrange payments;
  • Following and conducting service in accordance with standards of The Leading Hotels of the World;
  • Ensuring that tables and the restaurant remain clean;
  • Pro-actively selling restaurant products;
  • Maintaining excellent contact with guests;
  • Conducting daily Mise en Place activities.

  • Contract: 7 months of a 0 hour contract
  • Salary: Group 3 : €18,26 (including 8,85% vacation allowance and 10,64% vacation days)
