As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities to ensure successful project execution. This role involves technical and administrative duties, requiring collaboration with various team members to meet project objectives within time and budget constraints.
Tasks may include Interface Management, Delivery Management, Change Management, Package Management or other activities depending upon the size and complexity of the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- You develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project manager and other stakeholders.
- You coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- You conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support project decision-making.
- You monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- You review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
- You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- You liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- You provide support and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

Project Role: Project Ex Lead
- The Project Ex Lead reports to the Project Quality Manager and is responsible for the overall management of Ex compliance activities throughout the project. The main responsibilities of the Project Ex Lead are:
- Promote interfaces between disciplines and project phases regarding Ex compliance.
- Coordinate with Project Supply Chain (Procurement) Managers to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for in Supplier proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
- Coordinate with Project Supply Chain (Procurement) Managers to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for in contractor/yard proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
- Ensure that Ex requirements as specified in the Project Ex specifications and Package specifications are adequately incorporated by suppliers in their documents and procedures.
- Coordinate and organize the supplier Ex surveillance, capturing deficiencies or clarifications required by project reviews based on inspection reports.
- Deliver and maintain the Project Ex assurance plan and Project Ex specification. Ensure the Ex data coordinator prepares the Project Ex matrix, ensuring it covers all follow-up and reporting required by the Project Management Team during all project phases.
- Issue the regular issuance of Ex project matrix and dashboard. Ensure that the same Ex requirements are part of the contractor/yard subcontract and relevant exhibits.
- Coordinate with Area Project Managers and Quality Managers to ensure that the Ex requirements as specified in the Project Ex specifications and Package specifications are adequately incorporated by CONTRACTOR/YARD(s) in their Construction Execution Plan and any other relevant documents.
- Support MPF/module construction in terms of Ex compliance
