Servicenow developer - long term contract

Freelance ServiceNow Developer – Amsterdam, Hybrid

Contract: 12 months (extendible)

Start: Flexible (within a month)

Rate: €900 a day

I am currently partnering with a global consultancy with over 11,000 employees across 25+ countries, generating over €1 billion in revenue last year. They are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a greenfield ServiceNow implementation on a freelance basis, supporting a client rolling out ServiceNow globally.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality solutions across ITSM, CSM, and custom applications, collaborating closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and integrate ServiceNow with existing enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize ITSM, CSM, and custom ServiceNow applications
• Develop workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, and integrations (REST/SOAP, JDBC, etc.)
• Work with on-premises infrastructure, servers, and databases
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure platform performance and security
• Provide technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and the ServiceNow data model
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and infrastructure integration
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices and Agile delivery
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITSM/CSM) preferred
