Reporting to the Head of IT Delivery, you will act as a strategic advisor to senior business stakeholders in Supply Chain and drive the IT agenda to support their business goals.
Next, you are accountable for the delivery of the agreed project portfolio on time, in full and within budget, as well as all changes within the Supply Chain domain. When growing towards or according to the Agile DevOps set-up, this accountability also includes end to end operations, service performance and user satisfaction.
Next to being the expert in your area, as people manager you are responsible to build and grow a team of IT Functional Engineers, Project Managers and/or Scrum Masters in your functional domain.
As part of that, you own preparing and training your employees and business/functional stakeholders to work in a more agile way, starting to work in a DevOps way once the maturity is high enough.
Ensure there is a proper resource and related budget plan in place that gets updated every month.
Ensure projects complete their progress reports, financial status, and financial forecast in time monthly.
The Domain Lead Supply Chain is responsible for managing the financials of this domain. The Domain Lead needs to enable working practices that the team achieves % PO compliance, that POs are created and approved before the work starts, that accruals are created and proactively managed to reflect the actual status of spend, that at least quarterly there is a full review of all POs and contracts and that a rolling forecast is made starting with 12 months, extending this to 18 months. Besides this, the Domain Lead ensures ‘cost conscious’- mindset for his area. This all in close cooperation with the IT Controller and his team.
