FunctieomschrijvingKickstart your day as a Bicycle Assembly Worker!
Are you the one who keeps everything rolling? Literally! As a bicycle assembly worker, you’ll be building bikes from A to Z. You’ll work in an energetic team where teamwork and precision are key. From mounting frames to adjusting gears and testing brakes — you’ll make sure every bike leaves the floor in perfect condition. And that feels good! Start your day with a good cup of coffee, go through your checklist and then it’s time to screw, tweak and get going. Ready to roll?
What does your day look like as an Assembly Worker? Your day kicks off around 07:30 with a solid coffee and a chat with your colleagues. Once the shift starts, you grab your work order and get started on assembling a brand-new bike. You make sure the frame is solid, the wheels are tight and the chain runs smoothly.
Throughout the day, you work independently or as part of a team on various models. Think city bikes, e-bikes or kids’ bikes. Each one is different, so you stay sharp. You use hand tools like torque wrenches and pliers, and you check throughout the process that everything is adjusted to quality standards.
Midday, you enjoy a shared lunch break in the canteen. After that, you continue working on new bikes or finish the ones from the morning. You pay attention to detail, because your work determines whether someone hits the road safely and comfortably.
At the end of the afternoon, you tidy up your workstation and check if everything is signed off. You wrap up the day with a short update to your team leader. Around 17:00, you head out the door — another productive day done!
