Senior sales engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their growing team based in Rotterdam, Netherlands to support their projects and bring in new projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

The client requires a Sales Engineer with technical knowledge to work on internal sales and solution based selling, with a good understanding of mechanical equipment such as valves, pumps, compressors and skid packages, etc.

They are an equipment manufacturer working on skid packages for industry leading end client operators, on both onshore and offshore projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

Senior Sales Engineer - Technical Sales

START: December 2025, January or February 2026

LOCATION: Rotterdam, Netherlands

SALARY: €4,000 - €6,000 per month + 8% + package

Essential Skills:

• Technical sales background, understanding of engineering principles
• Strong working knowledge of with mechanical equipment (valves, pumps, compressors, etc.)
• Any experience working with P&IDs and basic engineering design/drawings beneficial, but not essential
• HBO/Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas, or similar process industries
• English language is essential, Dutch beneficial

The client is working on international equipment manufacturing projects in the Oil & Gas industry, and are growing at a fast rate so there is good potential for development and progression.

They are happy for candidates to be based in the Netherlands already, or prepared to relocate to the Rotterdam region.
