Functieomschrijving

We are looking for an Associate to strengthen our Investor Relations team. Working within the Central Services team based in Bussum, the Netherlands, the role combines reporting, fundraising support, project management, and data handling. It requires accuracy, discipline, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across finance, legal, tax, ESG, and technology.

This is not a routine reporting role and you will be a key member of the team in delivering exceptional service to our investors. You will contribute directly to fundraising and investor services, while improving how we manage portfolio and investor data, automate workflows, and deliver materials at institutional standards.

What will be your impact?

The IR Associate will:

  • Prepare and refine quarterly investor reports.
  • Support fundraising for all funds and continuation vehicles, including pitchbooks, investor materials, and due diligence.
  • Maintain investment- and divestment fact sheets, case studies and pitchbooks with consistent, data-driven insights.
  • Manage portfolio company data (financials, KPIs) for reporting and analysis.
  • Manage investor data through our CRM and other software apps (such as capital commitments, capital calls, distributions) and fund level data (fund performance overviews).
  • Work with the IT team to automate reporting processes and build digital tools (dashboards, investor portal, CRM).
  • Coordinate large-scale senior-driven projects across finance, legal, tax, ESG, and IT teams.
  • Contribute to investor events and ad hoc projects.
  • Update competitor analysis, industry trends and market developments to inform internal decision making.

The role is highly varied and involves working in a supportive, dynamic and vibrant atmosphere.

The projects you could work on offer continuous learning, increase your knowledge of the PE industry, and support you in growing your future career with us.

Be your true self:

We are seeking candidates (m/f/x) who can meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, law, finance, economics, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years of relevant full-time work experience (preferably in finance/investment banking/private placement)
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Strong numerical ability; able to handle both portfolio and investor data.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; precise and consistent in output.
  • Comfortable with technology, automation, and data tools.
  • Strong inter-personal skills in order to build strong relationships within the Central Services team and more broadly across other teams, third-party service providers as well as investors.

As regards your personality:

A down-to-earth and open team player, having good communication skills, decisiveness, a creative yet pragmatic attitude, initiative-driven, curious and passionate.

Well-organized, hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, commercial mindset, and work to tight deadlines.

Taking responsibility for tasks at hand.

You want to know more?

This full-time role will be based in our Bussum office, with occasional travel.

You will get direct involvement in fundraising and investor relations at a top-tier European private equity firm, and exposure to portfolio data, investor data, ESG, and tech-enabled processes.

We offer an opportunity to drive automation and digital initiatives in IR, in a demanding, international environment with early responsibility and senior exposure.

We commit ourselves to encouraging true team spirit and creating an inclusive and dynamic working environment in which each team member can pursue the knowledge needed to boost their career.

Work-life integration and hybrid working are important to us.
