1. On a mission

At DeltaQuad, you will work on technology that truly matters. As a pioneer in long-range electric VTOL drones (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), we develop robust platforms in collaboration with trusted partners, deployed across the globe in defence, agriculture, and inspection. Our drones are reliable, user-friendly and built to perform in demanding environments.

We combine technical innovation with a pragmatic approach. What we do today determines where we’ll be tomorrow and you play a crucial role in that journey.

Our core values:

  • Partnerships: We grow together through long term collaboration and shared success.
  • Customer focus: We think and act based on our customers’ needs.
  • Ownership: We take responsibility for what we do.
  • Innovation: We seek smart, practical solutions that work.
  • Excellence: We aim for quality and results.
  • Team spirit: We build trust, growth and enjoyment together.

2. The role

As a Senior Content Specialist at DeltaQuad, you combine sharp storytelling with a strategic mindset. In this role, you are the voice of DeltaQuad: translating complex technology and mission value into clear, credible communication for defence, government and technology audiences. This covers both online and offline communication, ranging from white papers and brochures to blogs and social media.

This is a hands-on position: you will create and publish content yourself. Your work will cover it all: human-centred stories, press releases, technical product articles and white papers. Together, these will reinforce our core narrative: strengthening European independence in defence and technology.

3. Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Write and publish white papers, technical product articles, case studies and website articles.
  • Create and distribute internal communications such as the company newsletter.
  • Publish and update website content, ensuring all pages remain current.
  • Manage our social media channels, create a content calendar, draft posts, coordinate visuals, track performance and drive organic traffic.
  • Collect stories in the field: interview engineers, operators and customers and translate them into impactful content.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with our overarching strategic message and strengthens DeltaQuad’s positioning.
  • Work closely with the Head of Communications to ensure consistency across all communication objectives.
  • Support events and trade shows with press materials, live updates and follow-up content.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend improvements.

4. What you bring

  • At least 7 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations or journalism.
  • Excellent writing skills in English (Dutch is a plus), with proven experience in white papers, press releases and (technical) articles.
  • Strong understanding of how to drive organic traffic, build engaged communities and establish thought leadership.
  • You are savvy, resourceful and able to work independently, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • You are a natural storyteller who makes complex technology and human stories accessible.
  • Proactive and hands-on: you actively seek stories and technical input rather than waiting for them.
  • Naturally structured and organised: the type of person who loves tidy folders, clear workflows and well-planned content calendars.
  • Experienced in working within highly regulated and politically sensitive environments, with a clear awareness of how this impacts the content you deliver.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including generative AI, with a willingness to consider how to integrate them safely and effectively into content workflows
  • Familiarity with content tools (CMS, LinkedIn analytics, HubSpot or similar).
  • Comfortable adapting to current developments and last-minute changes to content or plans.

5. What we offer

  • Coaching and professional growth opportunities Coaching and room to grow professionally.
  • 27 vacation days (based on full-time)
  • A 38-hour workweek with flexible working hours.
  • Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per km or a fully covered NS Business Card.
  • Excellent pension scheme through the PME pension fund.
  • Work in an innovative high-tech environment with real-world impact.
  • An open, informal company culture where your ideas are valued.
  • Lunch provided by DeltaQuad, monthly team drinks and regular team activities.
