Working Hours: 40 hrs/week (Up to 2 days remote)

Specification:

• 5–10+ years of experience in a design coordination or engineering lead role within large infrastructure projects
• Strong background in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Civil
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and processes
• Comfortable reviewing and approving technical documentation and drawings
• Experience communicating with clients, engineering firms, and subcontractors
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Role Overview

My client is looking for an experienced Integral Design Manager to support a major infrastructure renovation project in the Netherlands. This role offers 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work from home up to two days.

As the Integral Design Manager, you’ll play a central role in the technical delivery of complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You will lead and coordinate design teams across electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical disciplines, ensure alignment with mechanical engineering (WTB), and oversee the planning, quality, and integration of technical outputs. You’ll be responsible for translating client and contract requirements into effective, integrated designs while managing internal and external stakeholder expectations throughout the design phase.
