Introduction
At the Performance and Integration Department, we integrate and qualify the performance of ASML lithography machines. This means all subsystems come together and are being assembled and checked to meet specifications of our customers. These checks are done by dedicated groups for each individual performance parameter.
One of the crucial system performance parameters is productivity, which varies and depends on the machine's options and upgrade configuration. Complete information with regards to machines expected vs actual performance is crucial in the platforms' development & troubleshooting work.
Your Assignment
We are planning to create a new tool using a Mendix environment (low code platform). The application should be able to handle complex data structures and link them to a data base. Together with us, you will be creating a tool which will be one of the important productivity competence fundamentals in the next 10-20 years at ASML. Your tasks may include:
Adapt and learn to operate in new Software environments (e.g. Mendix);
Quickly deliver high quality work;
Propose your implementation solutions;
Work according to agile method with implementing solutions;
This is a bachelor's or master's internship for 6 months or longer, working 5 days a week (3 days onsite). The start date is around January/February 2026.
Your Profile
To be a match for this internship, you:
Are a bachelor's or master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field;
Have efficient software coding skills;
Have knowledge of SQL DB, Java and rest API;
Possess good task and time management;
Are proactive and have good analytical skills;
Are solution oriented and have an abstract way of thinking;
Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
