By joining our team, you will participate in development of a Pega Customer Decision Hub platform, which was named in 2020 the best Real Time Interaction Management software in the world. It leverages big data analysis and artificial intelligence (AI) to allow companies to anticipate customer needs, predict their behavior and, ultimately, improve their engagement. • Work as a part of a cross-functional team to build a platform used by thousands of companies.
• Design, develop, operate, and support high-performance adaptive analytics service.
• Optimize performance on micro and macro levels.
• Be involved in every step of the development process - from requirements definition and writing code to a deployment model on Kubernetes and AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud.
• Partner with Global Customer Support and Service Reliability teams to troubleshoot and address customer issues.

• Have a passion for software development: Java is a must, Kotlin is nice to have.
• Love simple and well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.
• Use technology to solve business problems. Do not use technology for the sake of using technology.
• Know how to design efficient services and a good API: Kubernetes, AWS, OpenAPI.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques.
• Be able to take a problem statement, analyze, design, implement with quality and maintain them.
• Understand that building software does not stop with the last line of code: DevOps and CI/CD.
• Understand caveats of distributed systems: scalability, resiliency, consistency, etc.
• Understand concurrency and data structures: lock-free data structures, reactive processing.
• Have performance and quality driven mind-set: Service Level Indicators, BDD, Contract tests.
