Your role as a Cloud Architect @Atos
We are looking for a Cloud Technical Architect to work on internal and customer projects for a broad variety of clients worldwide. This position provides you with autonomy, flexibility and of course enough challenges to learn and develop your professional as well your personal skills. Your work location will be at one of our offices in the Netherlands or at a customer site.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• working towards completing architecture/design and implementation of services to manage and migrate workloads to cloud-based PaaS, IaaS and SaaS products
• responsible for leading the creation of technology frameworks and providing technical leadership in internal and customer initiatives with a focus on the design of cloud-based services across the stack including Microservices, Containers, Container Platforms and DevOps
• engage with customers to understand their business challenges and requirements and help the customer’s design & implement new methodologies and IT service frameworks and maximize the business around the cloud service platforms
• work with customers throughout the whole modernization journey, providing comprehensive support to transform and evolve their application portfolios via native cloud development from strategy, to implementation to operations
• transforming legacy applications using modern secure software development methods with a set of proven DevSecOps practices to create the right environment to rapidly launch new services to customers

Skills we'd like you to have:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant professional qualification
• Experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer executives to drive cloud deployment
• Deep understanding and experience in working with one or more Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google) and on-premises environments
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
• Solid understanding of cloud virtualization, storage and networking & security solutions
• Understanding of cloud governance technologies for cost management and control
• Deep understanding of cloud-based Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts & ensuring follow-up
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within software & services company
• Takes ownership and shows commitment, team player with an open mind and positive attitude
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Preferred language Dutch, English business fluent
