Business development manager – small molecules

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Netherlands is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager – Small Molecules & Manufacturing to strengthen our commercial team.

This role is primarily focused on GMP testing services for small molecules, but also includes a strategic component dedicated to promoting our Manufacturing Services (Fill & Finish and compounding).

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and grow existing accounts in the small molecules segment, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Drive new client acquisition in two key areas: Small Molecule Market and Manufacturing Services.

You will act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, and manufacturing clients, leveraging Eurofins’ integrated service portfolio to deliver value across the drug development lifecycle.

• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the pharmaceutical market.
• New Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new clients for Small Molecule GMP testing and Manufacturing Services.
• Consultative Selling: Leverage in-depth knowledge of GMP regulations, small molecule analytics, and manufacturing requirements to provide tailored solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Operate effectively in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements include:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or account management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven track record in cold acquisition and account management, ideally in GMP testing and/or CDMO services.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and small molecule analytical/manufacturing requirements.
