As a Solution Architect for Rabobank Tribe Housing, Area Mortgage Criteria and Management you have an opportunity to make a sustainable impact on customers and employees.

Our purpose as Area MCM is to be the financial partner for our customers with responsible financing and personalized servicing. We do this by provide clear, simple, and sustainable solutions for our customers, to help our clients with their financial health.

The Solution Architect vacancy is focused on the Special Asset Management cluster. Within this cluster we are working on a new future state of applications, we are digitalizing where possible, streamlining the organization. We do this while maintaining the human approach to resolution in distress.

As IT we enable this by creating a seamless digital journey. In this journey our applications and services are online (web/app) and offline. Some built inhouse and some vendor managed.Do you want to challenge yourself and make an impact in the mortgage domain at Rabobank?

• You are proactive and understand the business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine appropriate solutions to drive the area targeted business outcomes.
• You know your stakeholders and are capable to use storytelling to explain the architecture need for certain changes.
• Manage and lead the architecture for the squads while working closely with the Area Leadership Team, the squads, and other stakeholders.
• Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving architecture for the area
• Provide oversight and foster built-in-quality to ensure squads create high quality and well-designed technical solutions.
• Leverage a strong engineering background to make the right choices in Solution Architecture.
• Familiarity with the software development process, including CI/CD principles, package development, unit testing, quality assurance, and monitoring.
• Working together with the Tech Leads and squads to stay in control.
• Can-do mindset while striving for futureproof architectures.

• Provide architecture advisory to the area leadership team.
• Incorporate the latest architecture concepts into projects and initiatives.
• Set and cascade solution direction across the different squads.

• Manage and lead the architecture effortfor the area together with the business architect and the other solution architects.
• Create and socialize an end-to-end solution architecture.
• Mentor and coach squads to implement the associated architecture.

• 3+ years in an engineering background (ideally development).
• Solution Architecture experience in a complex environment.
• Architecture training/knowledge on architectural practice.
• Collaborates effectively with others to achieve results.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Knowledge of architectural concepts such as microservices, event-driven architectures and domain-driven design.
• Pega certifications, Azure certification, Azure Kubernetes Service and/or Java background is a pre.
• Experience with Pega, Azure services (Security, Networking, Azure AI services, ADF, Databricks, AzureML, Synapse, PowerBI) is a pre.
• Knowledge of the ArchiMate modelling standard is a pre.
