Requirements

Project Manager with 2–5 years of relevant project management experience to support the successful delivery of multiple technical Research & Technology (R&T) projects within an innovative aerospace technology environment.
The Project Manager will work closely with Project Leaders, engineers, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track with respect to planning, budgets, deliverables, quality, risks, and contractual obligations.
The role also involves translating technical developments into clear actions, reports, and project deliverables.
Monitor project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, risks, and KPIs.
Support Project Leaders in the structured execution and governance of technical R&T projects.
Track technical deliverables and translate complex technical developments into clear actions and progress reports.
Manage project budgets, contracts, risks, and financial reporting.
Coordinate contractual, financial, and reporting obligations associated with publicly funded projects.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Communications.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including industry partners, universities, knowledge institutes, and government organisations.
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, risk registers, and governance records.
Facilitate project meetings and workshops using appropriate methodologies such as Lean, Agile, Scrum, or Design Thinking.
Support the preparation of proposals for national and EU-funded R&T projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, standards, and governance.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in stakeholder management within complex technical or multidisciplinary environments.
Experience managing budgets, contracts, risks, and project reporting.
Sufficient technical understanding to collaborate effectively with engineers and interpret technical project deliverables.
Strong organisational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent command of English.
Experience with publicly funded research projects, research consortia, or public-private partnerships is an advantage.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and/or certifications such as PMP, IPMA, or Scrum is a plus.
Experience in aerospace, high-tech innovation, energy transition, or a similar technical environment is highly desirable.
