Samsung SDS is looking for a motivated Cross Dock Logistics Coordinator to help manage and improve its cross-dock operations in Tilburg. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that shipments move smoothly between inbound and outbound transport, while supporting your team in achieving operational targets.

Your role and responsibilities

As Cross Dock Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee daily warehouse activities and act as the main point of contact between warehouse employees, transport partners, planning teams and other internal departments. You will help ensure that goods are processed accurately, safely and on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating inbound and outbound cross-dock activities to ensure efficient workflows.
• Organizing loading and unloading schedules and monitoring the timely handling of shipments.
• Distributing tasks among warehouse employees and providing guidance and support throughout the shift.
• Leading a team of approximately 20 and ensuring that daily objectives are met.
• Monitoring productivity, service quality and compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Identifying and resolving operational issues before they affect the wider supply chain.
• Maintaining clear communication with drivers, transport providers, planners and colleagues.
• Verifying shipment details and transport documentation.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors and improve overall performance.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution or cross-docking.
• The ability to organize daily activities and coordinate multiple tasks.

• A proactive attitude and the confidence to take responsibility.
• The flexibility to work according to the agreed shift schedule.
• Sufficient English skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and transport partners. Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Previous experience in a supervisory or coordinating position is beneficial, but candidates with relevant logistics experience and the motivation to develop their leadership skills are also encouraged to apply.

A forklift or reach truck certificate is an advantage rather than a strict requirement, provided you are willing to obtain the necessary certification if the role requires it.

• Hourly salary: €17.03–€23.50 gross per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
• Shift allowance: 30% shift allowance for hours worked after 6:00 PM
• Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave per year based on a 40-hour working week.
• Contract: Build your future with us! You’ll start with a one-year Phase A contract, with the opportunity to progress to a Phase B contract afterwards. This is a great opportunity to grow with us and build a long-term future in logistics, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
• Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
