Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their logistics operation in Venlo. This is a newly created position within the maintenance team, offering the opportunity to make a real impact and help shape the role from the ground up.You will join a team of two mechanics and act as the technical specialist for more complex technical issues. While the team handles day-to-day maintenance, you will focus on diagnosing recurring problems, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving machinery, electrical systems, and software. Support and guide maintenance technicians with challenging technical issues. Help create structure and best practices within a growing technical environment. MBO-level education (or higher) in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar. Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, production, or automated industrial environment. Hands-on experience with machinery, electrical systems, and technical maintenance. Experience performing root cause analyses in a technical environment. Fluent English communication skills. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
