Working under the guidance of senior lab engineering, sales, or business development colleagues, this role assists with equipment setup, test execution, documentation, lab organization, and preparation of customer demonstrations. This position is ideal for an early-career technical professional looking to develop product, application, and customer-facing skills while contributing to commercial opportunities and laboratory excellence across the European sales organization.brAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.brRole and ResponsibilitiesbrSupport customer tests and demonstrations in the European demonstration center, under supervision.brAssist with preparation, setup, operation, and clean-up of lab equipment for defined test scenarios.brFollow established safety procedures and laboratory standards when working with equipment, materials, hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.brDocument test conditions, observations, results, equipment settings, and relevant technical details accurately and consistently.brCoordinate with senior colleagues, engineering, sales, and application specialists to understand test objectives and priorities.brHelp maintain the lab in a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready condition.brExecute basic maintenance tasks on the lab and demo equipment.brConduct basic training sessions for both internal teams and external customersbrAssist with tracking lab supplies, consumables, tools, and equipment readiness, escalating needs for replenishment or maintenance.brContribute to basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during tests, escalating complex issues as appropriate.brDevelop product and application knowledge across relevant Nordson ICS product lines.brSupport preparation of test summaries, customer-facing information, and internal updates as requested.brSkills and QualificationsbrAssociate degree, bachelor's degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent technical training in engineering, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related technical discipline preferred.br0–2 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, service, engineering, or customer-support environment.brStrong attention to detail with the ability to document technical information accurately and consistently.brGood communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customer-facing personnel.brBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.brAnalytical mindset with basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies, products, and applications.brEnglish language skills required; German or additional European language skills are considered an advantage.brExposure to automation, electrical systems, robot programming, or powder finishing applications is beneficial but not required.brTravelbrOccasional travel within Europe may be required to support customer demonstrations, training activities, and business needs.brAbout Nordson Industrial Coating SolutionsbrManufacturers rely on Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions equipment for the precise application and curing of powder coatings, liquid paint, ambient temperature adhesives and sealants, and food and beverage container production.
