International travel is an essential part of this position. You will primarily travel to customer sites across Europe, with occasional trips to the United States and Australia. The travel schedule is expected to involve approximately 50–60% of your working time. Assignments may require you to stay away from home, but consecutive trips away are generally limited to around two to two and a half weeks. /ppYour responsibilities will include: /pulliInstalling, commissioning and testing industrial machinery and production systems at customer sites; /liliTroubleshooting technical faults involving electrical systems, PLC-controlled machinery and automation; /liliReading and interpreting basic electrical schematics to identify components, connections and potential faults; /liliWorking with PLC-controlled systems without necessarily programming PLCs yourself; /liliCarrying out service, maintenance and repair activities to ensure reliable machine performance; /liliSupporting customers on-site and remotely, explaining technical issues and helping them find solutions; /liliCollaborating with customers and international colleagues to complete service activities effectively; /liliReporting technical findings, service activities and any follow-up actions required. /li /ulpFunctie-eisen /ppTo be successful in this role, you should have a solid technical foundation and experience in an industrial environment.
